Joe Rogan is always drinking something weird on the podcast, drinks that the average person hasn’t tried or maybe even heard of. From stevia soda to kombucha to rye brain, what is this stuff? If you’re trying to find a drink or brand you heard mentioned on the podcast or just wondering what Joe Rogan’s favorite drinks are, check out the list below. Rogan has gone out of his way to say that he hasn’t been paid to promote these brands, he just really likes them.
Joe Rogan drinks Zevia on the podcast so much lately that people think he’s doing commercials for them whenever he brings it up. Zevia is a sugar-free soda that is naturally sweetened with stevia. Stevia is a sugar substitute that is made from the leaves of the stevia plant. Zevia sodas have zero calories and come in 14 flavors including cola, cream soda, cherry, ginger ale, root beer, grape, and orange. Rogan loves the cream soda. It’s available in cases of 24 cans (12-ounces each) for a single flavor or a rainbow variety pack with 12 different flavors, two cans each.
Kombucha is a probiotic drink made from sweetened black and/or green tea which is fermented with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). The SCOBY eats most of the sugar during the fermentation process and produces a number of good bacteria and yeast strains as well as B-vitamins. These probiotics and nutrients are beneficial for your gut health and can improve digestion, your mood, your immune system and more. Kombucha is effervescent (bubbly) and comes in a variety of flavors. Joe Rogan is a big fan of GT’s Kombucha but recently has been seen drinking Health Ade Kombucha on the podcast. Kombucha can be expensive especially if you’re drinking it daily, so you may want to consider making it yourself with a starter kit.
C2O Coconut Water
Longtime listeners of the podcast know that Joe Rogan has been drinking C2O Coconut Water for years. He says it’s the most delicious brand of coconut water he’s tried and it’s also his favorite post-workout drink. C2O uses young, green coconuts from Thailand to make 100% all natural coconut water. There are no preservatives, colors or artificial ingredients. It’s available in 10.5-ounce or 17.5-ounce cans with or without pulp.
Joe Rogan used to be a supporter of Bulletproof Coffee mixed with MCT oil and grass-fed butter. MCTs or medium chain triglycerides are fatty acids made from coconuts. The idea behind mixing your coffee with these healthy fats is to give you increased energy throughout the day and avoid a coffee crash.
Rogan has since switched his loyalty to Caveman Coffee wich was co-founded by his friend Tait Fletcher. Caveman Coffee’s single origin beans are hand picked and wet processed before being small batch roasted by a master coffee roaster. They have Colombian and Brazilian beans, light and dark roasts as well as a coffee made in collaboration with Onnit. Caveman Coffee even makes their own MCT oil to mix in your coffee with or without grass-fed butter.
You’ve likely see Rogan’s guests drinking Caveman Coffee’s NITRO Cold Brew. These small 8-ounce cans pack 270mg of caffeine that makes guests super chatty. They’re also Rogan’s favorite way to get a morning buzz.
Joe Rogan discovered Cave Shake coconut milk shakes on his own at the supermarket. Cave Shakes are high fat, low carb and full of MCTs. Flavors include chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and coffee. They are thick enough to eat with a spoon and make for a delicious dessert especially if you’re on a keto diet. Cave Shakes are currently sold in select retail locations with online ordering coming soon. Check caveshake.com for availability.
Rye Brain is an alcoholic mixed beverage consisting of Jack Daniels whiskey, water and Onnit Alpha BRAIN Instant. Alpha BRAIN is a nootropic that has been clinically studied to help healthy individuals support memory, focus, and processing speed. Alpha BRAIN Instant is the drink mix version that comes in peach flavored, single-serving packs. Rye Brain is Joe Rogan’s favorite drink before going on-stage for a comedy show. It was conceived by hunters John Dudley and Ben O’Brien.
